Next monthly meeting June 15th, 2026- 7 pm ** Next Troops packing - TO BE ANNOUNCED
During these global uncertain times, the government has closed military bases from receiving packages. This is obviously for the safety of all military personnel. Post 52 has no option but to hold on shipments until the mail is once again able to get through. We do have some who are stationed on bases where they can receive their package and those are being sent on a regular basis by a few volunteers. However, we are currently not holding packings open to the public. Letters of support and encouragement are being sent on a regular basis.
Hang in there with us. We do have contacts who are keeping us posted on this frustrating situation.
We are still accepting names and addresses of active military personnel - no matter where they are serving. Monetary donations will be used to resupply once we are able to ship again. Thank you for your continued support.

Troops packings are held at Post 52, 13216 Dunham Road, Meadville, PA 5:30 pm. Donations of items and money for postage expenses accepted year round. We are very grateful for the community support that enables monthly boxes to be sent to soldiers serving around the globe.

If you know someone serving, simply send us an email with the name and mailing address (date of return - if known) and they will receive packages.

If you know someone serving, simply email us their name and address and we will send them a monthly care package. Support our military by letting them know we appreciate their service.
At this time we are not accepting any liquids. The packages go through extreme heat/cold to reach their destination which will cause any liquid to expand or freeze and make a mess in the package. While we are experiencing cooler temperatures in NW PA - other parts of the world are still quite warm.
See below for other items being accepted. NO sample/hotel sizes please. NO Ramen Noodles.
Items such as sunscreen, hand lotions, eye drops and bug repellent are constantly needed. Bug repellent and sunscreen should either be lotion (wipes) or pump spray. NO AEROSOL for any product. The post office does not permit shipping of aerosol cans, so any aerosol items will be donated to a local charity.
Healthy snack items are very popular and the items below are all being accepted. Thank you for your support.
Please refer to the list below to see what other items are needed.
