After over 4 hours of waiting in the Pentagon Parking Lot, we’re finally on our way.

This young Marine stands at the corner of Constitution Ave every year. It takes appx 4 hours for all the bikes to roll through. The weather doesn't always cooperate. He's stood through through rain. He's stood there through intense heat with the sun beating on him for hours. We had the privilege of meeting him a few years ago. What an impressive young man!
